Our Mission and Vision
According to the latest SWS Survey, hunger continues to be a problem experienced by almost 3.4 million Filipino families today. As Christians, our call to be the salt and light in the earth is realized in situations of need and desperation like this. This is where our faith needs action.
God’s Word encourages believers to care for the poor and destitute. It is not an invitation, it’s a call. It reveals the seriousness of God’s heart for the poor, the destitute and the starved.
“Do not forget or neglect to do kindness and good, to be generous, and distribute and contribute to the needy, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.”
Hebrews 13:15
“One who is gracious to a poor man lends to the LORD. He will repay him for his good deed.”
Proverbs 19:17
We are not called only to talk about love, but to show love with actions. Joseph Feeding Mission (JFM) aims to continuously feed the hungry. JFM wants to give hope. JFM is focused in doing what Joseph the Dreamer did in the Bible. God used him to FEED in time of great famine. We can be like Joseph in our own special way. Together, we can be used by God to feed our nation and be a blessing to those who are in need.
“To love the Lord our God with all our heart, with all our mind and all our strength and to love our neighbor as ourselves…”
- To be used by God to FEED the hungry
- To be God’s hands and feet to reach out to those who are in need
- To FEED as many people as we can
- To EXPRESS God’s love through ACTION
- To ENCOURAGE more people to become like Joseph the Dreamer & be used by God to feed our nation
- To SHARE with everybody the opportunity to share their blessings and experience the joy of giving
