This month May, we LOCA group again with CHUMMY CHUM have visited Drop-In Center of Virlanie Foundation Homes. Virlanie’s Drop-In Center is the first home for most children. They are from 10 – 16 years old, sometimes younger. They learned to live again here in a structured environment with rules and responsibilities; an environment where they again have rights.
They learn how to clean themselves, their rooms and their clothes. They have regular meals, a safe and clean place to sleep; they have adults to care for them. They have a home again after sometimes years on the streets.

The day we went they are 30 abused, abandoned and autism kids from age 7 to 12 years old. We had 15 volunteers and Chummy Chum Foundation was together with us. We had brought every kids a gift which prepared in snacks, biscuits, jellies and chocolate. Moreover, we purchased 30 sets of Jolibee's Happy Meal to serve the kids.
Miss Lisa, Miss Macy, Miss Anny and Miss Easy had brought two sacks of rice, three boxes of instant noodles, two big plastic bags of stationery, 100 packs of snack, two big boxes of mixed cookies and etc for the kids too. LOCA appreciated their kindness and have a big WELCOME them to join with our monthly joyful outreach program.

This time, we had special guest which is TV5, they were there for featuring Chummy Chum Foundation routine in their show and we have been picked up for shooting by Chummy Chum. Thanks Miss Rowena by giving this awesome chance and great experience for us in Philippines.
